The PocketTerra Map Component
The PocketTerra .NET Compact Framework Mapping component flexibly displays topographic maps, aerial photos, and user data. Functions include:
  • Zoom In/Out by dragging the stylus
  • Zoom In using a rectangle
  • Pan using the stylus or with scroll bars
  • Go back to previous map views
  • Configurable raster and point layers
  • Layers turn on or off at various scales
  • Points may have any number of symbols to represent them
  • Layer data sources may be either a database or an ADO.NET DataView
  • Tap on a point symbol to get information (generates event)
  • Circle and Polygon Queries (generates event)
The map control is fully programmable and documented. Nearly every possible behavior and property is accessible from your VB.NET or C#.NET program.
